one-way trip lasted approximately four hours.
On top of Mt. Objibway by the fire tower - looking out
over Isle Royale on a sunny day in July.
The group takes a rest at the end of the day on the
rocky shore of Lake Ritchie, one of the hundred of lakes on Isle Royale.
This is a typical trail on the ridge, which goes down
the middle of Isle Royale.
This is one of many portages on the island. Walking on the
boards with a pack and slippery footing required balance and patience.
One of many scenic spots looking out on the many lakes of Isle
Royale.
