While at Norfolk Naval Base, Virginia, the Scouts received a tour of the USS Enterprise, the country's first nuclear aircraft carrier. This photo was shot on the flight deck. By chance, the fleet was in port on the week, which we visited. |

At Oceana Naval Air Station (home of the F-14 Tomcats), the crew got a personal tour of a squadron's hanger from pilot, who was a former Scout from Ada, Michigan. All the Scouts got to try on flight gear and use night goggles. |
